Tommy Gunz, CEO/Manager

 

Tommy Gunz has always possessed a passion and love for music, and that passion caused Tommy to major in Radio/TV Production will attending Paul L. Dunbar High School.  Tommy Gunz was the morning show and afternoon host of WDVH (Dunbar's in-house radio station). Upon graduation he would later enroll in Kennedy King College where he gained valuable experience working as an on-air talent for 89.3 FM WKKC radio Wednesday night Rap House hosted by the Tri-Fecta Squad while simultaneously hosting GUV TV Presents Open Mic Poetry Night which was held at Kennedy King College. Upon graduating Tommy took his talents and experiences to Chicago State University where he was not only an on-air personality, but also served as the Music Director, Program Director and President of WCSU Radio. This was the grounds for Tommy to obtain a position as a board operator/producer for one of Chicago's major radio corporations. During that time he was the producer of one the highest rated Saturday morning radio program.

 

Recognizing that he was called to do more he joined forces with Showtime, Atlas and Grindz to take their talents for music and created Shadow Masters Entertainment. The SME movement that was formed with the purposes of spreading positivity and love through hip-hop music. Performing their unique brand of music at various community organizations, church functions and night clubs.

 

They are now in the process of creating a non for profit organization that will provide mentoring for at risk youth young men and women, that will focus on leadership training through the creative arts.
